Mastercam Training
Mastercam Router is the CAD/CAM software that takes you to a new level of productivity. Easy to learn because Mastercam makes programming so simple, you'll be designing and cutting parts on day one. Mastercam offers both modeling tools as well as CAM tools for creating, milling and turning paths for CNC manufacturing. However, Mastercam’s 3D modeling cannot be expected to compare to programs that exist primarily for 3D modeling, such as SOLIDWORKS, Inventor, Creo, NX or the like. Mastercam is a milling and turning program. The Mastercam 2021 Multiaxis Essentials eCourse is intended for the advanced Mastercam user looking to learn Mastercam Multiaxis programming. A firm grasp on both 2D and 3D machining is required and can be attained by completing the Mill Essentials and Mill Advanced Training Tutorials or eCourses.

How to obtain
Licensing
Mastercam is licensed for Windows use by MIT students, faculty, and staff for educational use only.
By downloading you agree to and accept the following license requirements: Download darfon driver.
- You will not leave the software running and will close the application at the end of each session of use. (A computer running Mastercam is logged into the license server and uses one of a finite number of ‘seats’ of the license.) Exiting the software will free that seat for someone else.
- You will not use the software to create programs for parts that you will sell.
- Upon leaving MIT, currently licensed users do not have the continued right to use this software and should delete it from their personally-owned machines.
