Carbon Copy Cloner or CCC is an application that allows to backup and reinstall your Mac computer with a few clicks. It saves time because you don’t need to install again operating system if it fails and allows to create copies or clones that can be installed on other hard drives.
If you change your Mac, this program will help you to copy all data from old computer to the new one in an easy way.

Support to be scheduled to run automatically, it allows incremental backups (only files that have been modified), put password on backups and more.
Carbon Copy Cloner: An Upgrade to Time Machine. While Time Machine certainly wins for simplicity and compatibility, occasionally you’ll want more features. Carbon Copy Cloner offers bootable backups, support for RAID configurations, and a powerful scheduling system to manage when your backups will take place. Store Specific Documents in the Cloud. Carbon copy cloner free download. Double Commander Double Commander is a cross platform open source file manager with two panels side by side. With the announcement of Max OSX 11 (XI?), looking to phase out the main MacBook Pro. One of the best parts about running OSX has been using Carbon Copy Cloner to generate bootable backups. Now that we’ll be going 100% Ubuntu, it’s time to find a replacement for CCC. This is currently where my research. CCC is just a fancy front-end gui for rsync. I'm not sure if there is an equivalent for linux, but if you don't mind the command line, you can do what you want there: rsync -a -x / /media/backupdisk/ Replace /media/backupdisk/ with whatever mount point your backup disk is attached to.

Fretwizzer and Frelwizzen are both Peter Köhlmann. This has been proved time and time again. He claims it is a 'forger' or a 'hacker', but:
* The 'forger' is psychic and knows when Peter Köhlmann is going to start and stop posting.
<http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/carroll-forger>
<http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/carroll-forger2>
<http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/carroll-forger3>
<http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/carroll-forger4>
This pattern repeats itself over and over... those are just some examples.
* Peter Köhlmann twists and lies to say it is merely a sign of a 'forger' posting at about the same time. Why lie if he is not hiding something?
* Peter Köhlmann has (at least apparently) done the same nonsense before with socks: <http://tmp.gallopinginsanity.com/stevedward>.
* Peter Köhlmann repeatedly blamed Snit for forging him but has also admitted he lied and 'doubts' it is him doing so.
* Peter Köhlmann has used multiple accounts to accuse people of forging him.
* Peter Köhlmann clearly has been watching what IPs the 'forger' is using and listed them.
* Peter Köhlmann pointed to <https://www.torproject.org> which makes it trivial to use multiple IP addresses with their Tor Browser.
* Peter Köhlmann lies about being able to use that software, claiming he has 'no idea how this can be done'.
* Peter Köhlmann himself pointed out that even his 'normal' email address has been posted through proxies, just like his 'forger' has been doing, but he says this is because Google or his ISP somehow forces this.
* Peter Köhlmann claimed he thought using the Tor Browser would make Google Groups look completely different. Absurd. Why tell such a lie if he is not trying to obfuscate the issue?
If Peter Köhlmann calls getting shoved into kill filters by numerous people (and completely ruining his reputation and any reason for me to give credence to anything he has to say - until hell freezes over) successful 'trolling', then whatever... he is a crack troll. I can't personally go along with that view, I use another term. I call Peter Köhlmann a total dork. Translation: 'Peter Köhlmann' is now FULLY unable to disguise his forging.
